Gentle practical support to help you navigate life's changes with more calm and clarity

Just Ask Jayne - an introduction
How I can help

Just Ask Jayne is a calm, supportive space for individuals seeking a more intentional way of living, one that feels simpler, steadier, and more meaningful.

Many people arrive here wanting to get things organised, plan ahead, and have everything in one place, not from fear, but for peace of mind, for themselves and for those they love.

Since first creating Just Ask Jayne in 2018, this space has naturally evolved into one focused on raising awareness, encouraging reflection, and sharing thoughtful resources that support a slower, more conscious approach to living and planning ahead.

Through carefully created resources, gentle guidance, and the Peace of Mind Planner, this website helps individuals simplify their lives, feel more grounded, and move forward with greater calm and clarity.

Whether you’re navigating change, feeling stuck, or simply craving a quieter, more intentional way of living, this is a place to pause, reflect, and take meaningful steps forward, at your own pace.

Meet Jayne

Hi I'm Jayne,

I’m the voice and heart behind Just Ask Jayne, shaped by my own lived experiences and a journey of simplifying and organising my life to ease overwhelm.

I first created Just Ask Jayne in 2018, starting from a personal desire to create something meaningful for myself while exploring ways to support others.

Over time, it has naturally evolved into a space focused on sharing thoughtful resources, raising awareness, and encouraging a slower, more intentional way of living.

My work is informed by counselling-based studies, holistic wellbeing practices, and my training as an End-of-Life Planning Facilitator - experiences that guide the calm, compassionate tone and thoughtful content I share.

I created this space to offer gentle guidance, trusted resources, and a reassuring environment for anyone looking to take ownership of their life, simplify, and prepare thoughtfully for the unexpected.

Just Ask Jayne exists to remind you that you’re not alone, and that small, intentional steps can make a meaningful difference.

More than a journal
Your Peace of Mind Planner

This isn’t a journal, and it isn’t about dwelling on end of life plans.

The Peace of Mind Planner is about living well NOW! Creating space for clarity, calm and conscious choice.

It’s a practical, compassionate tool that supports people to simplify, take ownership of their lives and feel much more at peace, today and into the future.

Who's it for?

I find people come to Just Ask Jayne when they are feeling overwhelmed, lost or disconnected.

When they want to bring order, clarity, and peace of mind by getting everything organised in one place - a gentle way to plan ahead for life’s unexpected moments.

And when they want to live more intentionally and take ownership of their life and legacy, at their own pace.

When your Peace of Mind Planner arrives through your letterbox, it comes with a complimentary tea-bag, sourced from a local company, and a welcome note inviting you to put the kettle on and browse the pages.

There are lots of different categories (I've done all the pre-thinking for you) and it might look a bit daunting at first - but I promise you, it's not!

I suggest you break the planner down into small manageable chunks and complete it a step at a time, completing it at your own speed.

Frequently Asked Questions

*

What are the services you provide?

I create calm, practical tools that help you organise your life, your information and your wishes in a clear, supportive and self-guided way.

The Peace of Mind Planner has been designed to be easy to use, gently guiding you through each section at your own pace.

Over time, additional guides and downloadable resources will be available to offer further information and support when needed.

This allows you to work privately, in your own time, without pressure - while still feeling supported.

*

Is this just about planning for end of life?

Absolutely not! This planner is about everyday life as much as it is about planning ahead.

It helps you organise the practical parts of your life that often get overlooked (from personal and household details to health, finances and important documents) so that everything is easier to find, easier to manage, and easier to share if it’s ever needed.

It’s about living with more clarity now, and peace of mind for later.

*

Can I do this on my own or will I need help?

The Peace of Mind Planner has been carefully designed to be fully self-guided.

Each section is clearly laid out, written in calm, easy-to-understand language, and can be completed privately, in your own time.

Future guides and information packs will also be available if you would like extra support - without the need for appointments, calls or ongoing commitments.

*

How much does the planner cost?

The Peace of Mind Planner is a one-off purchase price of £25.00 (plus P & P).

There are no subscriptions, memberships or ongoing charges.

Once you own it, it’s yours to use, revisit and update whenever you wish.

If you'd like one, head to the 'Let's Talk' page, leave your name and contact and Jayne will get back to you to complete your order.
