"Burnout, loss, and grief changed my life."
Hi, I'm Jayne
If you’ve arrived on this site, it may be that you are carrying more than most people can see.
Perhaps life feels overwhelming, unclear, or quietly exhausting.
That’s a place I know well.
Burnout, loss, and grief gently but firmly invited me to pause, to look at how I was living, and to become deeply aware of what truly matters.
What followed was a personal journey of slowing down, simplifying, and learning to live and plan with more intention, clarity, and peace of mind.
Along the way, I made gentle but meaningful changes. I stopped drinking alcohol, began prioritising my wellbeing, listened more closely to my body, adapted my lifestyle, and simplified my home, life admin, and everyday responsibilities to reduce overwhelm and create calm.
Through self-awareness, reflection, and practical planning, I began reshaping my life in ways that feel more grounded, more meaningful, and more aligned with who I truly am, and continue to do so.
In doing so, I realised something important: we are not here simply to cope with life, we are here to consciously choose it.
Just Ask Jayne was born from this understanding.
Plan for tomorrow. Live for today.
This space exists to share tools, reflections, and thoughtfully created resources shaped by lived experience, heartfelt learning, and a deep belief in the value of slowing down, planning ahead, and living with intention.
My monthly newsletter will share gentle insights, reflections, and thought-provoking prompts drawn from my own journey, offering space to pause, think clearly, and consider what might support a calmer, more intentional way forward.
Everything you’ll find here is offered as self-led support, to be explored at your own pace, with compassion and curiosity.
The Peace of Mind Planner isn’t a journal, and it isn’t about dwelling on end of life plans.
It’s about living well now, creating space for clarity, calm, and conscious choice.
It’s a practical, compassionate tool designed to help people simplify, take ownership of their lives, and feel more at peace, today and into the future.
